My-O-My I Love Pie!

My-O-My to say the least...right???  I didn't realize that it has been almost two months since I last posted!  Yikes!  Just like me to celebrate a "birthday," wolf down the cake, and disappear until the next sweet comes my way....

Hubby and I were on our way to Pismo Beach to get him a HARLEY...yeah...insert a joke on midlife crisis here .... and we decided to stop at the Madonna Inn for a little treat.  Lemon meringue pie and a cup o' coffee in the afternoon was a bit of bliss after the loooonnnngg car ride.  (By the way, we didn't buy the motorcycle because it was nothing like the photo on Craigslist...poor baby boohooed all the way home).  If you ever get a chance to stop at this place, I would recommend it...a bit "kitchy" and girlie with all of the bling bling and bright pink (fake) flowers, but it brings a smile to your face so to h*ll with the calories!
